When I played this hole with FairwayVacations.com I went ahead and hit Drive and it rolled all the way to the green. Here is what the Caddy told me. The ideal position for the opening tee shot is on the high ground to the left side of the fairway. Any drive leaking right will leave a blind approach for the second shot. The approach shot can be played to the left of the green as the natural contours will kick the ball in towards the flag.
A few weeks ago I stood on the tee at Carnoustie Golf Links with a group from my company Fairway Vacations. This is where the Womens British Open is being played this weekend.
The Championship Course that they are playing was originally laid out in ONLY 1840 BY Allan Robertson, with mahor changes being introuduced later by Old Tom Morris. This cours is difficult, but fair, and always rewards good play.

3 -How to Prepare
Preparing can take as long as playing a round of golf if done properly. Create a list of as golfers that support your business objective. If you cannot come up with 20 names, then you will need to begin creating a list by simply asking people if they play. Once the list is compiled, look for the right mix of people for each round of golf. Separate them into groups of three with one alternate. Determine your objectives for the round based upon the dynamics of the group.
2 – Who to invite
Playing golf is 6 hours out of a busy day that can either be an afternoon off or an opportunity to create a solid business relationship. The key to the latter is inviting the right people. Having four players is a better use of time than two. Inviting clients, prospects, business sources, existing and perspective employees, vendors and community leaders can provide a nonthreatening atmosphere where personal and business relationships can be created. It takes effort and an organized initiative in order to make Golf an effective use of valuable time.
What a great tournament over the weekend. The Babe and Ike courses were in great shape. Unfortunately, my game wasn’t quite as good. Great job Industry Hills Mens Club for putting on such a great event and their fearless leader Mike King.
